Alugando um apê na Finlândia | Renting a flat in Finland

Passando aqui pra mostrar que esta aqui é a vista que tenho da minha nova cozinha. Como alguns de vocês já sabem, neste último final de semana nos mudamos para um novo apartamento. E me veio à mente que o que talvez alguns de vocês não saibam é como pesquisar um apartamento ou uma casa para alugar na Finlândia. Então resolvi dar algumas dicas.

Importante lembrar que é muito mais fácil fazer essa busca on-line. Mas já vi pequenos anúncios em outros lugares também, tipo grupo de Facebook, jornal de bairro e quadros de anúncios em supermercados, por exemplo. Na busca on-line, o melhor é economizar tempo e buscar direto nos sites que tanto imobiliárias quanto proprietários anunciam, certo?! Então aqui vão três dicas para te ajudar nessa busca.

Primeiro, vou compartilhar com vocês os dois sites que são os mais conhecidos por aqui para busca de imóvel para aluguel. Claro que devem haver outros além dos de cada imobiliária, mas aqui vão os mais conhecidos e que podem ser usados tanto em finlandês quanto em inglês.

Segundo, comece a busca definindo quantos cômodos precisa ter o imóvel que você está procurando. Lembrando que, aqui os cômodos são divididos em: quartos (incluindo a sala) + cozinha + banheiro. Podendo ter sauna, garagem, depósito e por aí vai.

  • YKSIÖ (1h): um quarto-sala com cozinha e banheiro.
  • KAKSIO (2h): um quarto, uma sala, cozinha e banheiro.
  • KOLMIO (3h): dois quartos, sala, cozinha e banheiro.
  • NELJÖ (4h): três quartos, sala, cozinha e banheiro.

Terceira dica é determinar o tipo de imóvel que está procurando:

  • OMAKOTITALO: casa
  • RIVITALO: várias casas germinadas
  • PARITALO: duas casas em uma
  • LUHTITALO: prédio de apartamentos com as escadas externas
  • KERROSTALO: prédio de apartamentos com escadas e/ou elevadores internos

Definidas essas informações básicas, já é possível fazer uma boa busca.

Just to show that this first picture is the view I have from my new kitchen. As some of you already know, this past weekend we moved into a new apartment. And it just came to my mind that what some of you might not know is how to research an apartment or a house for rent in Finland. So I decided to give you some tips.

It’s important to remember that it’s much easier to do this search online. But I’ve seen small ads elsewhere too, like Facebook groups, neighborhood newspapers, and supermarket bulletin boards, for example. When searching online, the best thing is to save time and search directly on the websites that both agents and owners advertise, right?! So here are three tips to help you on this quest.

First, I’m going to share with you the two websites that are best known around here for renting property search. Of course, there must be others, but here are the most popular ones that can be used in both Finnish and English.

Second, start the search by choosing how many rooms the place you are looking for needs to have. Remembering that here the rooms are divided into: bedrooms (including the living room) + kitchen + bathroom. It may also have a sauna, garage, storage and so on.

  • YKSIÖ (1h): a bedroom-living room with kitchen and bathroom.
  • KAKSIO (2h): one bedroom, one living room, kitchen and bathroom.
  • KOLMIO (3h): two bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom.
  • NELJÖ (4h): three bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bathroom.

Third tip is to choose what kind of place you are looking for:

  • OMAKOTITALO: house
  • RIVITALO: several semi-detached houses
  • PARITALO: one house divided in two or just two semi-detached houses together
  • LUHTITALO: apartment building with external stairs
  • KERROSTALO: apartment building with internal stairs and/or lift

Once you have this basic information, it is now possible to do a good search.

Quase finlandesa

Oi! Sumi de novo, né?! Pois é, vida de mãe de dois, minha gente! Não tem tempo livre não. Aliás já perceberam que o conteúdo do meu blog deu uma mudada depois que tive filhos? É por isso que decidi mudar o nome do blog (e do Instagram… e se você não me segue lá ainda, deveria começar a seguir). A partir de agora o blog se chama “Quase finlandesa”.

Por que “Quase finlandesa”? Bom, já moro na Finlândia há mais de cinco anos. Teoricamente já poderia ter até minha cidadania finlandesa (mas como todo o resto das coisas que eu deveria ter feito, ainda não tive tempo pra isso), já tenho muitos hábitos finlandeses no meu dia a dia, falo um finlandês razoável, tenho filhos finlandeses e gosto de várias comidas finlandesas também. Mas a principal razão é que eu percebi que essa mudança na rotina (de mãe) fez com que meu conteúdo se tornasse muito mais sobre ser mãe na Finlândia do que uma apresentação do país em si, como eu pensei no começo. Mesmo que os meus textos continuem mostrando as burocracias e os costumes por aqui, se tornou muito mais um blog de “estilo de vida”.

Então não vou deixar de apresentar conteúdo sobre a Finlândia, na na ni na não. Mas vou tentar deixar as coisas mais leves e mostrar coisinhas simples do dia a dia da vida na Finlândia. Vou tentar fazer uns stories e vídeos pra vocês e postar conteúdos mais curtos no Instagram, deixando o blog mais pros textos longos (que eu tanto gosto de escrever).

Guess who is back? This mother of two with no free time. By the way have you noticed that the texts on my blog changed after I had children? Yeah… That’s why I decided to change the name of my blog (and also my Instagram accountl. From now you can call it “Quase finlandesa” (meaning “almost Finnish” in Portuguese).

Why “almost Finnish”? Well, I’ve lived in Finland for over five years now. In theory I could even have my Finnish citizenship (but like everything else I should have done, I haven’t had enough time for that yet), I already have many Finnish habits in my daily life, I speak reasonable Finnish, I have Finnish children and I like a lot of Finnish foods too. But the main reason is that I realized that this change (becoming a mom) in my routine made my content become much more about being a mother in Finland than a presentation of the country itself, as I thought I would write about at the very beginning. Even though my texts continue to show all the bureaucracies and habits around here, it has become much more a “lifestyle” blog.

So I will not stop to write about Finland. But I’m going to try to lighten things up and show simple things from everyday life in Finland. I’ll try to make some stories and videos for you and post shorter texts on Instagram, using the blog more for longer texts (which I do love to write).
