Hoje começa a Copa do Mundo! E futebol sempre foi uma paixão do brasileiro, mas e pros finlandeses? Qual a relação da Finlândia com o futebol?

Bom, digamos que poderia ser um pouco melhor. Apesar dos finlandeses gostarem de futebol, jogarem durante a escola e entre amigos, além de asistirem aos jogos, a seleção finlandesa de futebol, tanto masculina como a feminina, nunca se classificou para competições importantes como a Copa do Mundo ou European Championships. Apesar de ter ficado muito perto de classificar para o European Championships em 1980 e da Copa do Mundo em 1986.

A verdade é que o que o futebol é para os brasileiros, o hóquei no gelo é para os finlandeses. Um dos motivos é que o clima por aqui não ajuda muito, boa parte do ano é muito frio e com tudo congelado por aqui, ou seja, para a seleção os treinamentos são indoor e não em campos oficiais e para os amadores restam dois ou três meses para alugar um campo e praticar o esporte. Por exemplo o “Supertähti minuutissa” (Super estrela em um minuto) mostra um minuto da carreira de vários jogadores famosos como Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Maradona, David Beckham, Zidane e Pelé! Mais uma receitinha bem finlandesa pra vocês. Essa é bem prática pra quando tem que fazer alguma coisa rápida ou pra bastante gente, porque não dá muito trabalho e é bem gostosinha. Aqui já experimentei essa sopa de salsicha em dia de ajudar na mudança de uns amigos pra casa nova ou quando tinha bastante gente pra um almocinho rápido.

Basicamente você precisa de salsicha (de preferência essa salsicha que tem mais carne e menos conservantes, aqui as salsichas geralmente tem de 80 a 92% de carne), batatas e cenouras. A receitas também fica uma delícia se incrementar com batata doce ou couve fatiadinha, por exemplo. Por aqui também se costuma colocar alho poró e “lanttu”, que é difícil encontrar uma tradução em português (em alguns lugares diz nabo da Suécia, outros chamam de rutabaga e alguns conhecem por couve-nabo), mas é um tubérculo bem comum por aqui.

Mas vamos ao que interessa… eis a receita:

Ingredientes
– 400 – 500g de salsicha
– 1 L de água
– 1 tablete de caldo de legumes
– 3 cenouras grandes em cubos
– 4 batatas grandes em cubos
– 1 cebola picada
– sal a gosto
– pimenta do reino a gosto
– salsinha picada

Modo de Preparo
Primeiro corte e frite as salsichas. No meu caso, fritei junto a cebola, porque prefiro ela bem dourada. Retire da panela e reserve. Coloque a água para ferver e adicione o caldo de legumes. Adicione nesta ordem: cenouras, batatas, salsichas e cebola. Em seguida, tempere com sal e pimenta do reino. Deixe cozinhar por aproximadamente 15 minutos. Adicione a salsinha e está pronto para servir.

Ingredients
– 400 – 500g sausage

Preparation
